Your challenge this week is to photograph something that curls.
What comes to mind when you think of a curl or curls? Usually hair comes to mind first, but I can assure you there is a multitude of things out there that curl.
A few examples of things that curl apart from hair may be a corkscrew or the curling of a new fern frond, or the curling tendril of a grapevine or pea plant. If you live near a surf beach just look at the curl of those waves. Some vegetables such as kale have curly leaves.
The list can go on and on. Some dogs have curling tails, potato chips can be curly and telephone cords are curly.
I think those examples are enough to get you thinking.
Now go and use your imagination and photograph something that curls. Remember to enjoy yourself and have fun this week. I can’t wait to see what you come up with.
