By popular demand, the 52 Week Photographic Challenge is back.
A quick recap of the rules is that the photos you submit be taken after the challenge has been set – ideally in that week. If you are having trouble completing the challenge in that week, it does’t matter, you can post your image later.
The idea of the challenge is to think about each theme and take fresh new photos with a fresh mindset, not to scroll through past photos and submit them. It is a journey we will take together to try new things and find our creativeness and improve in our photography.
Now, are you ready? The first set subject for 2018 is ‘Beginnings’.
What does beginnings mean to you? Maybe it’s the bursting forth of new growth as a seed germinates. Perhaps something to do with the dawning of a New Year. A sunrise marks the beginning of a new day. An egg suggests new life. Other suggestions: chapter one of a book; a pen to paper with the start of the first word of a letter or poem or script.
I think these clues should be enough to get the thought process happening.
Now go and use your imagination and photograph what 'Beginnings' mean to you. Remember to enjoy yourself and have fun this week. I can’t wait to see what you come up with.
