Your challenge this week is to photograph the concept of ‘Time’.
How would you communicate ‘Time’?
One way is to show us the effect time and the elements have on its subject. There are many old weathered signs on old buildings out there. Flowers fade and dry up as time passes. Aged hands and faces are another one that shows the effect of time.
A few more ideas to get you thinking about the challenge:
Finding time or how do you pass the time of day when you relax.
Maybe photograph an interesting timepiece like a watch or clock or garden sundial.
Other interesting time devices might be the radio alarm clock that wakes you in the morning. For the chefs in the house, the kitchen timer or egg timer may be used as a helpful tool. You may pull out your smart phone to check the time or glance at the top right corner of your computer.
There are many ways of representing the concept of ‘Time. Even motion blur, star trails, long exposures and car light trails capture that moment frozen in time.
Now it’s time to come up with your own concept of ‘Time”. Go and use your imagination, consider composition and lighting, and show us your amazing, creative pictures. Remember to enjoy yourself and have fun this week. I can’t wait to see what you come up with.
